The Block sofa console by Ethnicraft combines a clear, architectural design language with the natural warmth of solid wood. Striking angular dividing elements create a rhythmic interplay of surfaces, gaps and different perspectives. This gives the console a particularly sculptural and expressive appearance.
With its elongated yet narrow shape, the Block sofa console was designed specifically for flexible placement in the living area. It is ideal behind a sofa, along a wall or as a decorative room-divider element. The open compartments offer plenty of space for books, home accessories, vases and personal decorative objects.
The clear lines and the open gaps give the solid piece of furniture a light and balanced look. The deep espresso colouring makes the console appear both warm and elegant and allows it to fit particularly well into modern, minimalist and characterful living concepts.
Material
The Block sofa console is made from 100 % solid mahogany. The wood is given a dark espresso stain and finished with a matt, protective lacquer. This surface emphasises the natural structure of the mahogany while protecting the piece against the demands of daily use.
