The Hystrix by Cattelan Italia is more than a dining table — it is an architectural work of art. Its base of curved metal recalls the lightness of a spectacle frame and brings dynamic movement into the room. The sculptural design makes it the focal point of any interior — elegant, modern and at the same time iconic.
The 15 mm glass top appears to float on the curved base and forms a fascinating contrast between delicate transparency and powerful structure. The Hystrix is available in various types of glass and in a metal finish of steel lacquered transparent or embossed graphite, each of which lends the table its own personality — the glass is facetted from transparent through to extra clear.
