The Butterfly from Cattelan Italia is more than a dining table – it is an architectural work of art. Its base of curved metal recalls the lightness of a butterfly's wing and brings dynamic movement into the room. The sculptural design makes it the focal point of any interior – elegant, modern and at the same time iconic.
The 15 mm glass top appears to float on the curved base and forms a fascinating contrast between delicate transparency and powerful structure. The Butterfly is available in various types of glass and metal finishes, each giving the table its own personality – from transparent to extra-clear fired (MIST), from matt titanium to brushed bronze.
Every Butterfly is made in elaborate handwork; traces of colour and brushing are therefore characteristic features and not a fault, but a sign of its authenticity.
