DRAGON Wood – designer dining table with a wooden top in various versions
The Dragon Wood is a luxurious dining table from the iconic Dragon collection by Cattelan Italia, known for its combination of architectural rigour and organic elegance. Its powerful steel base and characterful wooden top embody timeless Italian design - made with the highest precision and craftsmanlike passion.
The collection comprises three different top versions, each of which gives an interior its own personality:
- Version S – "Scultorea": top in Canaletto walnut (NC), burnt oak (RB) or natural oak (RN) with solid, irregular edges. Thickness: 4 cm. This version emphasises the natural character of the wood and brings out organic forms and grain. Available in three sizes: 200 x 100 x 74, 240 x 120 x 74 and 300 x 120 x 74 cm.
- Version B – "Bevel": top with bevelled, faceted edges, available in Canaletto walnut (NC) or burnt oak (RB). An elegant alternative that combines the classic material wood with modern precision. Available in three sizes: 200 x 120 x 74, 250 x 128 x 74 and 300 x 128 x 74 cm.
- Version M – "Masterwood": boat-shaped top in Canaletto walnut (NC) or burnt oak (RB), made from several diagonally arranged strips. The rounded and bevelled edges and the refined grain give this variant an incomparable depth. Available in two sizes: 250 x 128 x 76 and 300 x 128 x 76 cm.
All surfaces are produced in traditional handwork. Colour and brushing variations are an expression of genuine craftsmanship and make every example a one-off.
