The TA001P Dream Chair captures the striking vision of Japanese architect and designer Tadao Ando, who designed the chair as a tribute to Hans J. Wegner. Ando wanted to create minimalist, well-formed furniture by pushing the boundaries of materials, craftsmanship and design. The Dream Chair tests the flexibility of a variety of materials to create appealing, minimalist and iconic shapes. The TA001P Dream Chair is finished to the highest standard, so it looks fantastic from every angle. It completely blurs the line between art and functionality. The relaxing neck cushion and the fabric or leather upholstery on the backrest and seat surface provide an even more luxurious experience.
The TA001P is available in four versions: oak lacquered or oiled, and walnut lacquered or oiled. The frame, seat and backrest are made of veneer; the seat and backrest are additionally padded with foam and can be covered in eight fabric groups and three leather groups. The neck cushion is included. The version without seat upholstery carries the model number TA001T.
