Carl Hansen CH111 chair
The CH111 chair, designed by Hans J. Wegner, is part of a series of important furniture with a Frame of flat stainless steel and seats and Backrests covered in leather. The subtle strength of the chair and its clear, simple lines are the essence of masterful design. One of the striking features of the CH111 chair is the rear leg, which is turned 90 degrees to fit into the upholstered Backrest, giving it optimal support. A simpler solution would have been to simply weld the Armrest onto the extended rear leg, but Wegner never compromised on quality or aesthetics. The CH111 chair was designed alongside the elegant CH110 desk.
The CH111 has a Frame of stainless steel, with seat and Backrest upholstered and covered in leather. The upholstered Armrest pad is part of the standard specification. The Cover is available in leather groups A, B and C. There is no wood Version of this model.
