The ONDA Dining Sofa by Bernhard Müller is neither a bench nor a sofa, but a seating solution for the dining table — communicative comfort, floating lightness and a deliberately reduced design language. The continuous Backrest is always set back 30 cm from the sides and does not align with the Seat surface. This creates a geometry that works from every perspective and allows the piece to stand freely in the room.
The Upholstery is built on an entirely ecological basis — sisal webbing, coconut fibres, cold foam with castor oil and sheep's wool. The feet, made of black powder-coated steel (Ø 16 mm), are height-adjustable by up to 3 cm. For contract use, a fire-retardant fleece is available on request.
A choice of 76 covers is available from the fabric collections Flash, Clunis, Gent, Jette, Rami, Spa and Loop. Customer's own fabric is possible but not listed in the shop — please contact us.
The base element grows into a seating landscape: with the Swing, an upholstered element with a 15° bend, and the Curve, a corner element with 90°. Both are only available together with a base element and can be ordered from us as ready-made set items.
Which length suits which table? Our recommendation: we calculate 60 cm of seat width per person and choose the bench 20 to 40 cm shorter than the Table top — so it stands between the table legs and does not protrude at the sides.
