Curved moulded wood, a softly padded cushion, four slender steel legs: the LUZ armchair takes up a classic of modernism and retells it. The wooden shell cradles the sitter from behind, and the cushion turns it into a seat worth staying in.
The back and seat are upholstered using ecological materials — cold foam made from castor oil and sheep's wool — and permanently covered. The shell is available in matt-lacquered walnut or 'Black' oak, and the frame is black powder-coated steel.
