LUZ means light. The classic from more is now also available on a swivel base — letting it turn towards wherever the conversation is happening. The fully upholstered seat shell sits on a slim column above a round base plate of 45 cm diameter, both in black powder-coated steel.
The upholstery is ecological: a moulded wood core, cold foam made from castor oil instead of petroleum, topped with a sheep's wool cushion pad. The fabric or leather cover is permanently fitted and not removable — so choosing the cover is a long-term decision.
It is available without armrests and with armrests. In the armrest version, the back shell extends forward in two curved wings that also support the arms; this makes the chair 4 cm wider. Seat height, depth and frame are the same for both.
