Originally designed for the Lincoln Restaurant in Manhattan, and now also on display at the more showroom in Hamburg: B14 is a design by Bernhard Müller from 2009. As a coffee table, it brings the same idea closer to the floor.
The narrow shape fits in front of the sofa, into a niche, or against the wall. The top tapers to an ellipse on all four sides – no corner to bump into. You choose the depth freely: 60 or 70 cm, at no extra cost.
The top is a glued-board, continuous solid wood top, 2.8 cm thick, with lengthwise grain. It is chamfered from below towards the edge, leaving a visible edge of 1 cm.
It is supported by a central steel column, black powder-coated, on a round base plate 60 cm in diameter and only 6 mm high. Two table heights are available, 30 or 45 cm – for placing side by side or overlapping.
Available in 21 wood versions in oak, ash and American walnut, with the surface oiled and waxed or matt lacquered.
