The CUT coffee table brings the round solid wood top of the large CUT tables down to sofa height. The top is edge-glued and runs through without a joint, 2.8 cm thick — the same thickness as the dining table, just on short legs made of solid wood.
Two heights are available, and they depend on the diameter: the small tops Ø 60 and Ø 80 cm stand 37 cm high, while the large Ø 100, 130 and 150 cm tops stay flatter at 30 cm, giving priority to the surface. The base circle grows accordingly — Ø 24 cm under the small tops, Ø 30 cm in the middle, Ø 40 cm under the largest top.
The surfaces come oiled and waxed or matt lacquered, in the same 21 wood tones as the dining tables: from natural oak through the special tones to American walnut.
CUT was designed by Hamburg-based designer Peter Fehrentz (2021). The legs are reminiscent of a sailing yacht's rudder blade — in the small format, this basic principle stands out especially clearly.
