The S 260 meets the strict standards of modern large-scale seating as well as aesthetic demands for contemporary design. Its special feature is the simplified linking mechanism, which allows uncomplicated row connections. Large spaces can be used particularly economically thanks to the space-saving connection and the option of stacking the chair vertically. These features give the S 260, available both with and without armrests, essential advantages in terms of space. The S 260 can be linked into rows intelligently and without tools. Thanks to the special construction of the frames, the chairs barely need to be lifted for this, allowing very quick linking. In accordance with DIN 14703, the S 260 meets all requirements for row connection, including panic-release safety. A stacking trolley is also available for easy handling.
The S 260 F is the version with armrests: the armrests are made of black plastic. The seat shell in polypropylene rests on a chrome-plated four-legged frame in tubular steel, with plastic glides included. Two versions are available: unupholstered (S 260 F) or with mirror upholstery on the seat (S 260 SPF). The chair is stackable and can be linked in rows; the model without armrests is called the S 260.

Mirror upholstery: With mirror upholstery, only the inner side is upholstered – precisely the area where you sit and lean back. The back of the seat shell remains visible in wood or plastic. This keeps the chair light and slender while still gaining noticeably in seating comfort.
Row connection: Chairs that can be linked in rows can be joined side by side into fixed rows of seating without tools. This is required wherever many people sit together: in halls, churches, canteens or conference rooms. The Thonet connection is patented and meets the DIN EN 14703 standard for row seating, including panic-release safety – in an emergency, the row can be cleared quickly and safely.
