Royal Botania Anamon

Anamon is a parasol that captures the Royal Botania philosophy perfectly: luxury, refinement and innovative design in which function is always design too.

Designed by Kris Van Puyvelde and inspired by the elegance of a tube-dwelling sea anemone, Anamon opens “like a blossoming flower” – while remaining deliberately clear in silhouette. The highlight is the top-down opening mechanism: the parasol unfolds intuitively from top to bottom without disturbing surrounding furniture – ideal for terrace, poolside or hospitality settings.

When the sun goes down, Anamon switches to night mode: with the canopy retracted, it becomes a sculptural light source with warm white LED, powered by a rechargeable battery – with no annoying cables. A wheeled base makes repositioning easy, and a top cap protects the mechanism from rain and dirt; water is channelled away via a discreet drainage system.

Anamon was honoured with two Red Dot Design Awards 2025.
