The UENO collection is not just a simple table or stool — it is an essential meeting of line and surface, fullness and emptiness. The tubular metal profile creates a weightless form and always presents rounded corners with soft contours. These sweeping shapes lend the collection a harmonious aesthetic and an inviting presence. Takashi Shinozaki, the designer behind the Ueno collection, says he was inspired by the stools in his school. With this project, he has undoubtedly created a school of thought that unites tradition and modernity, functionality and aesthetics in a unique way.
