High-quality furnishing objects for relaxing in your very own lounge spot. In the tradition of oriental seating culture, Walter Knoll creates these floor cushions filled with pure cotton from hand-knotted rugs. They are available in the sizes 100 x 100 cm and 200 x 100 cm.
Oriental culture has always known seating close to the floor – and for good reason: cushions are soft, yielding and create a special feel-good atmosphere. For many nomadic peoples, rugs and cushions serve not only as seating but also as a place to sleep. The underside of the floor cushion is covered in fabric, while the various motifs from the Legends of Carpets collection define the top side of the Badawi Pillows.

Simply position the roll in fine saddle leather under the cushion and an inviting daybed is created – for relaxed daydreams or cosy hours of reading.
Inspired by the landscapes and colours of Africa, the rugs by Walter Knoll were created in collaboration with textile designer Helmut Scheufele. Their expressiveness draws on the creative diversity of the African continent – translated into timeless, knotted works of art.

- Pile height (total): approx. 11 - 14 mm (due to the manual manufacture and shearing of the Badawi Pillows, deviations of up to 10% are possible)
- The cut-outs of the Badawi Pillows are fixed and cannot be changed
- Optional accessory: Badawi roll in "Saddle" leather. Filling: natural material. The roll serves as a support for the Badawi Pillows so that you can sit or lie on them comfortably. Dimensions: W 86 x Ø 24 cm
