Organic evolution – Supernatural by Ross Lovegrove for Moroso
Supernatural embodies a multisensory design language: delicate, flowing lines that invite touch and reward repeated discovery. The buoyant shapes unfold from the structure into the surrounding space, playing with volume – now full, now empty – so that light, air and the body can pass through and animate it.
The perforated backrest creates an appealing play of shadow, deliberately recalling the filigree patterns of sunlight falling through leaves. Light, flexible in everyday use and extremely durable, Supernatural redefines the traditional role of statement pieces, bringing them into private spaces and public areas alike without losing their characteristic presence.
Made as a one-piece shell of reinforced polypropylene, the chair can be stacked up to four high and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
