Louis Poulsen YUH • table lamp
The Yuh table lamp was designed in 2017 by the Danish-Italian designer duo GamFratesi for Louis Poulsen. Originally available in black and white, the series was later extended with brass and marble versions. The lamp is distinguished by its flexibility and its space-saving construction. The shade can be rotated and adjusted in height so that the light can be directed precisely at the desired area to create the ideal atmosphere. The minimalist design continues from the round base to the narrow opening at the tip of the shade. The name “Yuh“ refers to the phonetic spelling of the English word “you“, which underlines the personal orientation of the lamp.

Lighting concept
The lamp emits mainly glare-free light downwards, with the shade adjustable to change the angle of the light. A narrow opening in the upper part gives off soft ambient light. Thanks to a flexible mechanism the light can be aligned ideally, for example at a workstation or in the living room. The integrated LED technology allows stepless dimming (15-100 %) and a timer function switches the light off after 4 or 8 hours. A fixed brightness level can be set for switching on. A button on the upper part of the stem serves as switch and dimmer.
