The PH 2/1 table lamp from Louis Poulsen is made of mouth-blown, three-layer white opal glass and emits soft, pleasant light predominantly downwards. Poul Henningsen used his famous three-shade system, which he developed in 1925 to create glare-free light, as the basis for this luminaire. The PH 2/1 table lamp is a further development of that system, ensuring an even distribution of light and minimising glare. The upper shade has a diameter of about 20 cm, while the lower shades come from the 1/1 version.
