The VL 45 RADIOHUS pendant light by Louis Poulsen made its comeback in 2016 under the name VL45 Radiohus. Originally designed in the 1940s by the Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for the Danish broadcasting house "Radiohus" in Copenhagen, it still presents the original design: a brass suspension and a shade of three-layer, mouth-blown glass. The pendant light has an inner and an outer layer of clear, glossy glass, while the intermediate layer is white glass. In 2019 the series was extended by a smaller version to offer even more scope for versatile applications and arrangements.

Lighting concept
The luminaire produces an even, soft light. The opening at the bottom allows a focused downward distribution. Thanks to the quality of the glass, the surface of the luminaire appears evenly illuminated. It is suitable for both high and low mounting.
Please note that the brass surfaces are untreated. This means that the surface changes over time and develops a patina.
