Louis Poulsen PH 3½-2½ table lamp
The PH 3½-2½ table lamp follows Poul Henningsen's reflecting three-shade system, which directs most of the light downwards and is completely glare-free. It is available in two versions, which differ in the top shade and therefore in the light.
Opal glass shade – High Lustre Chrome, Brass Metallised or Black Metallised
All three shades are made of mouth-blown, three-layer opal glass, glossy on the outside and matt sandblasted on the inside. The whole lamp glows softly and diffusely. The colour refers to the brass base, stem and top plate: high-lustre chrome-plated, brass-metallised or black-metallised.
Metal shade – White, Red, Green or Yellow
In these colours the top shade is made of aluminium (spun-cast), powder-coated in colour on the outside and lacquered white on the inside. It lets no light through but directs it gently downwards. The two lower shades remain mouth-blown opal glass and offer a large glare-free surface. The shade holder and base are made of velvety, matt brown copper.
