The PANCO table system, which organises a setting according to its spatial needs, has now been adapted by Romano Marcato to the requirements of outdoor design. In the outdoor version the distinguishing element that establishes the absolute originality and the elegant dynamism of the original design remains unchanged: namely the detail of the side legs, which consist of folded metal plates with a vertical slot. The encounter of materials between steel and wood is also renewed. The legs in powder-coated metal, available in either white or black tones, combine with a table top in warm and hard-wearing Iroko.
The size of the table, however, changes, and with it its functionality. The top is wider (from 50 to 90 cm) and a bench in the same materials can be comfortably accommodated in the lowest version of the PANCO (74 cm). A solid and comfortable item that completes the collection and further defines its sociable spirit. Sober and functional, the seat disappears elegantly under the table, enhancing the harmony of the whole. With Lapalma’s unmistakable style you can spend delightful evenings outdoors on a terrace or in the garden, and also furnish the outdoor spaces of public gathering places such as museums and galleries.
