The SEELA seating family by Antti Kotilainen has grown — a brand-new cockpit version, developed to serve the home and contract sectors even more precisely.
The seating is characterised by clear lines, extreme functionality and a light yet solid frame. The curved polypropylene seat shell rests on a very light base, which comes in different versions depending on the variant:
- SEELA S340: five-star base, swivel and height-adjustable, in aluminium, sandblasted or powder-coated; self-braking castors for optimum mobility and stability
- SEELA S342: four-star base with castors, in aluminium, sandblasted or powder-coated; self-braking castors for easy movement and a secure stand
- SEELA S344: four-star swivel base, in aluminium, sandblasted or powder-coated; polyethylene glides for smooth movement and floor protection
The version with a wooden seat insert serves as the starting point for the new armchair with an upholstered, fabric-covered seat. On request the entire seat can be covered, and other materials are also available for the seat insert. This offers endless versatility and makes it possible to adapt the piece entirely to individual requirements.
