Ethnicraft Safari lounge chair - Outdoor
The Safari outdoor lounge chair by Ethnicraft combines the adventurous character of classic expedition furniture with a calm, modern and timeless design language. Its light construction, the gently curved armrests and the generous seat give the chair a relaxed yet characterful presence.
The Safari lounge chair was designed by Jacques Deneef. The design deliberately takes up the aesthetic of traditional safari chairs and reinterprets it in a pared-back, elegant way. As a result, the chair is at home in modern settings as much as in rustic or naturally styled surroundings.
The generous seat and the softly curved armrests invite long, relaxed moments. The removable cover in the Dune colourway underlines the chair's casual character and at the same time makes everyday care easier.
The Safari lounge chair is built to withstand outdoor conditions. At the same time its design is of such quality and restraint that it works equally well indoors. It is therefore suited to terraces, gardens, conservatories and covered outdoor areas as well as to relaxed living and lounge areas.
The combination of natural teak and the understated Dune fabric gives the chair a warm, harmonious appearance. Its low weight also makes it easy to move and to position flexibly indoors or outdoors.
Material
The frame of the Safari lounge chair is made from solid, untreated teak. Because of its high density and its natural oil content, teak is particularly well suited to outdoor use.
