The Safari lounge chair for outdoors by Ethnicraft combines the adventurous character of classic expedition furniture with a calm, modern and timeless design language. Its light construction, the gently curved armrests and the generous seat surface give the chair a relaxed and at the same time characterful appearance.
The Safari lounge chair was designed by Jacques Deneef. The design deliberately takes up the aesthetic of traditional safari chairs and reinterprets it in a pared-back, elegant way. As a result, the chair feels at home in modern as well as in rustic or naturally styled settings.
The generous seat surface and the softly curved armrests invite long, relaxed moments. The removable cover in the Dune colouring underlines the casual character of the chair and at the same time makes it easier to care for in everyday use.
The Safari lounge chair is constructed to withstand outdoor conditions. At the same time its design is so high-quality and restrained that it can equally well be used indoors. It is therefore suited to terraces, gardens, conservatories and covered outdoor areas as well as to relaxed living and lounge areas.
The combination of natural teak and the restrained Dune fabric gives the chair a warm and harmonious appearance. Its low weight also means it can be moved easily and positioned flexibly indoors or outdoors.
Material:
The frame of the Safari lounge chair is made of solid, untreated teak. Thanks to its high density and its natural oil content, teak is particularly well suited to outdoor use.
