Carl Hansen BM1871 Bench
Simple, functional design is at the heart of the Outdoor Series, originally designed in 1971 by Børge Mogensen for his private balcony. Carl Hansen & Søn is reintroducing this classic design, expertly crafted from untreated teak for long-lasting durability. The bench in the series stands on sturdy legs that can be neatly folded away into the elegant slatted seat surface when the bench is not in use and needs to be stored. Upholstered seat cushions in weather-resistant Sunbrella fabric provide even greater seating comfort.
The BM1871 is made exclusively in untreated teak – no other version is available. The fittings are made of stainless steel, and the bench is foldable. The matching seat cushion is available at an additional cost, upholstered in Sunbrella Heritage Papyrus 18006.
