The folding outdoor table by Børge Mogensen, whose clean lines and functional details reference the simplicity of Shaker furniture, was designed in 1971. The legendary designer's table and bench set for outdoor use was rediscovered by Carl Hansen & Søn and adapted to modern needs, while remaining true to the spirit of its original design. Graphic slats on a robust yet elegant wood frame form a durable and decorative table top, perfectly suited to spontaneous outdoor gatherings. The long-lasting design withstands wear and weather conditions. Over time, the table ages attractively, taking on an elegant silver-grey tone. Combine it with the matching bench for a set that is easy to store away when not in use.
The BM1771 is made exclusively in untreated teak – no other version is available. The fittings are stainless steel, and the table is foldable, allowing it to be stored flat when not in use.
