Carl Hansen E008 Embrace Outdoor Dining Chair
EOOS has represented the modern side of the Carl Hansen & Søn collection since 2015. Inspired by the existing Embrace series of tables, chairs and sofas, the design trio now presents the Embrace Outdoor series, extending the unique experience of comfort and relaxation seamlessly into the outdoor space. EOOS continues to explore the tension between the perfect and the imperfect, resulting in the E008 Embrace Outdoor Dining Chair, whose design expression is clearly inspired by the E005 Embrace Armchair. The design trio set out to create a new typology for outdoor furniture that offers the same dining experience as a meal indoors. A softly padded seat cushion pad wraps around the high-quality teak frame, forming an elegant contrast to the slender, masterfully crafted wood. The removable seat cushion pad, made from durable, weather-resistant material, allows for versatile use and a changeable aesthetic. Without the cushion pad, the patina of the untreated teak takes centre stage, revealing the high level of craftsmanship evident in the finger joints on the arms and the joins beneath the seat. The E008 Embrace Outdoor Dining Chair can be stacked for storage and pairs with the E022 Embrace Outdoor Dining Table.
The E008 is made in a single version: solid teak, untreated. The CU E008 cushion pad is available separately and can be covered in three outdoor fabrics: Panama Hollin 1779, Panama Alga 3667 and Liso Life Oat 1760. Up to four chairs can be stacked on top of one another.
