more ROOM bed | without headboard
Johannes Hebing reduced ROOM in 1999 to the essentials: a surrounding frame of 40 mm solid wood bars, carried by four slender legs in the same wood. No decor, no fascia — just the construction.
Inside the frame sits an aluminium frame that takes the load and keeps the bed torsion-resistant even at large widths. It comes anodised as standard; if preferred, the aluminium profiles can be matt-lacquered to the lacquer sample card — at no extra cost with ROOM.
This version is the pure bed frame without headboard — a low, open sleeping surface on all sides that can stand freely in the room without a back view from any side. For those who want a headboard, ROOM is also available with two or three slats.
The frame is available in the full more wood range: eight standard shades in oak and ash, eleven special oak shades from Alabaster to Graphite, and American walnut, each oiled and waxed or matt-lacquered.
