Opulent in comfort, reduced in Shape — this is how Gil Coste designed the NIL bench in 2020. The slender solid wood Frame tapers thinly towards the outside, so that the Upholstery appears to float above it.
The ecological Upholstery consists of sisal webbing, coconut fibres and cold foam with castor oil, covered with sheep's wool. The Frame is available in oak and American walnut, each oiled and waxed or matt lacquered; the special oak shades range from smoked oak to graphite. A choice of 104 covers is available: the fabrics Flash, Clunis, Gent, Jette, Rami, Spa and Loop, as well as the leathers Orta, Lugano and Garda. Two benches can be joined via a mitred corner to form a corner bench.
