Opulent in comfort, reduced in Shape — this is how Gil Coste designed the NIL Bench in 2020. In the wall-mounted Version, the wooden Frame is omitted: the Upholstery sits on steel brackets, leaving the floor beneath completely free.
The eco-friendly Upholstery consists of sisal webbing, coconut fibres and cold foam with castor oil, covered with sheep's wool. The wall mount is made of black powder-coated steel and measures 60 x 6 x 15.5 cm; a third bracket is added from 230 cm in length. Mounting on a load-bearing wall must be prepared on site. 104 Covers are available: the Fabrics Flash, Clunis, Gent, Jette, Rami, Spa and Loop, as well as the leathers Orta, Lugano and Garda.
