The Harri sideboard pairs closed doors with an open compartment in the middle. The grooved solid wood front runs continuously across the doors, while the open compartment displays books and decoration instead of hiding them away. The slender Y-frame in anthracite powder-coated steel holds the carcass visibly above the floor.
The carcass is veneered in oak or walnut and matt lacquered, available in one of twenty-one colour tones. In the standard version, the cover plate and base are made of MDF and lacquered in a solid colour in one of ten RAL tones — a smooth colour surface that deliberately stands as its own tone alongside the wood. For an additional charge, both surfaces instead receive the same real wood veneer as the carcass and fronts, so the sideboard presents a continuous wood appearance from top to bottom; this covers the veneer sheet itself, the grain-matched assembly and adjustment to the chosen tone, and the multi-stage process of sanding and lacquering.
