In 1992, the Belgian company Vincent Sheppard decided to take up the thread of this extraordinary tradition and craftsmanship. Vincent Sheppard created an ingenious collection that combined the classics with elegant innovation and transformed them into contemporary furniture. It was a huge success. The company did not settle for half measures: beyond directing the design, it wanted to control the entire production process. Vincent Sheppard founded its own factory in Cirebon, Indonesia, and thus grew into one of the few vertically integrated Lloyd Loom manufacturers in the world.
