Skargaarden Saltö

The islands off Sweden's west coast were shaped by wind and salt. On the beaches of Saltö you find soft driftwood, surrounded by sea holly and clusters of shells. It is so beautiful that you immediately want to put a sofa on the beach. It would have to be a sturdy one to work here. And handsome to look at. So why not let the landscape commission a sofa? "Let it be made of aluminium," the coast might say. "Then salt and rain cannot harm it. And give it plenty of weatherproof cushions that dry very quickly." Very well.
