Bivaq Garda

The GARDA collection, designed by Joan Gaspar for BIVAQ, is inspired by the great icons of constructivist and rationalist architecture. The concept is based on the chairs and armchairs of the 1950s associated with names such as Le Corbusier, Vestergard Jensen, Gio Ponti and Olli Borg, which Gaspar has transposed into garden furniture. Their functional and seemingly simple lines create a collection that is above all meant to be brought to life, following in the footsteps of those great names who created living spaces to influence the lives of their inhabitants. A collection born of a fascination with industrialisation and the pursuit of practicality, through a tubular structure and a fabric base on which the cushions rest. GARDA dispenses with all unnecessary decorative elements and concentrates on comfort, lightness and feel.
