Shaal is Arper's soft architecture: a modular sofa system by Doshi Levien (2022, updated 2023) that looks like a basket full of cushions – inviting, generous, yet visually light. The combination of a clear outer form and soft, curved upholstery strikes a balance between design and genuine relaxation. Ideal as a free-standing sofa, for lounges, collaborative work areas or private living spaces. A plus for the contract business: removable covers and versatile material combinations.
