Sweeping lines define the silhouette of the chair, charmingly emphasised by the colour-accented piping. Beneath the cover, an elastic fabric spans the seat and back surfaces. Originally developed for aviation, this high-tech material also provides exceptional seating comfort in the Liz Chair. The cover is removable.

The version with particularly soft upholstery and fine tucks complements the Liz family designed by Claudio Bellini, which also includes the Liz Wood Chair and the stackable Liz-M Chair.

The Liz Chair is available with a wide range of fabrics and leathers. The seat and back consist of a taut high-tech fabric that is elastic yet dimensionally stable. The cover can be removed. Frame and cover can be separated and recycled.

The Liz Chair is available either with or without soft upholstery. The variant with soft upholstery features fine tucks. The tubular steel frame is available in three finishes: high-gloss chrome-plated, matt black powder-coated, or matt bronze powder-coated.

The back of the Liz Chair is free-swinging. The chair is available both with and without armrests.

For the version with armrests, you can choose between an open and a closed design. The open armrests are made of plastic and available in black or silver. This variant is stackable. The version without armrests is also offered in both stackable and non-stackable forms.

The Liz Chair is available in various sizes and with two different back heights. Related products: the Liz family also includes the organically shaped Liz Wood and the Liz-M, a stackable chair that can be linked in rows for conference and event areas.

Note: leather hides are selected by specialists according to strict criteria and high quality standards. Leather naturally has both soft and firm areas of hide, which may be processed alongside one another. It stretches through body heat and moisture during use, resulting to some extent in ripples and creases (so-called seating hollows). Favourite seats show this particularly clearly. This adjustment process is largely complete after a few weeks; further stretching is minimal and unobtrusive. Depending on the tanning method, dyeing, and surface treatment, leather initially has a characteristic smell typical of the material, which noticeably diminishes over a few weeks; airing the room can speed this up. Walter Knoll uses several hides for a single upholstered suite. No two hides are alike. Insect bites, small injuries from fences, or marks from tussles leave small scars on the cattle hide, which can be found again in the leather. Feeding folds are a sign of the animal's health and good nutrition. These material-typical characteristics do not affect the quality of the leather furniture. Differences in sheen, colour, and texture within a single hide and between the cut pieces of a cover are likewise characteristic and typical of leather furniture.
