Komfy seat cushion 75 cm by Sifas
Infinitely modular, this low lounge set is understated and elegant and makes it possible to create individually adapted lounge areas. With only five structural parts (two seat sizes, arm rests and interchangeable back rests, and feet in aluminium or stainless steel), Komfy can be presented as a straight sofa or a classic armchair as well as a corner lounge suite. A bench, a chaise longue or a méridienne can be added according to wish and need.
Lacquered aluminium
Structures in chrome-plated stainless aluminium, lacquered and stoved at 200°C (392°F). The epoxy powder coating is applied evenly by electrostatic spraying (80-micron layer). In this process the micro particles of powder are attracted by the entire metal surface and adhere perfectly to the aluminium. In the oven they melt under the heat and cure, creating an even and extremely resistant coat of lacquer. The lacquer used by Sifas® is available either smooth and glossy or textured with a granite look. It is guaranteed weather-resistant. During production the process is tested to verify the adhesion of the lacquer to the metal by cross-cut test — a method used in the automotive industry (ISO standard 2409).
Textylene®
The woven, PVC-coated polyester fabric Textylene® is a leader in numerous markets. Known as the outstanding material for garden and leisure furniture, Textylene® is found worldwide on chairs, cushions and parasols. Unmatched in strength and beauty, Textylene® is made from PVC-coated, woven polyester that does not stretch out of shape. Textylene® is flame-retardant, weldable, mould-resistant and stable in both heat and cold. It is an extremely durable contract fabric, specially developed from yarns that survive many years of intensive outdoor use. It requires only minimal care, and the colours stay clear and strong even after years of outdoor use — even in extreme weather conditions.

- Structure in 304 stainless steel tubing, 90% recyclable, electropolished, which removes iron particles near the surface and increases resistance to atmospheric corrosion, chemicals and salt spray.
- Wear-resistant glides in polyamide-reinforced fibreglass.
- Comfort: cushions in outdoor acrylic.
- Glass top, enamelled on the underside at 900°C (1652°F), chemically matted on the surface and edges (no fingerprints). Modularity: modular living furniture system.
- The modules can be joined together as you wish to create continuous seating landscapes.
- Komfy was inspired by a sustainable approach using durable materials with a low CO₂ footprint that are also recyclable and offer a good weight-to-performance ratio. The aim is to reduce the environmental impact of the products and services throughout their entire life cycle.
