Komfy dining chair set by Sifas
Infinitely modular, this low lounge set is understated and elegant and allows you to create individually tailored lounge areas. With just 5 structural parts (2 seat sizes, armrests and interchangeable backrests, with aluminium or stainless steel legs), Komfy can appear as a straight bench or a classic armchair as well as a corner lounge suite, to which a bench, a chaise longue or a méridienne can be added according to wish and need.
Lacquered aluminium
Chrome-plated aluminium structures, lacquered and stoved at (392°F / 200°C). The epoxy powder coating is applied evenly (80-micron layer) by electrostatic spraying. In this process the micro powder beads are attracted by the entire metal surface and adhere perfectly to the aluminium. In the oven they melt and are cured by the heat, creating an even and extremely resistant coat of lacquer.
The Sifas® lacquer finish is either smooth and glossy or has a textured granite look. It is guaranteed weatherproof. The process is tested during production to verify the adhesion of the lacquer to the metal by cross-cut test – a method from the automotive industry (ISO standard 2409).
Textylene®
Textylene® is a woven, PVC-coated polyester fabric and a leader in numerous market segments. It is best known as a high-quality fabric for leisure furniture; Textylene® is found worldwide on chairs, cushions and parasols. Unmatched in strength and aesthetics, Textylene® consists of PVC-coated, woven polyester that does not lose its tension.
Textylene® is flame-retardant, heat-weldable, mould-resistant and stable at both high and low temperatures. Textylene® is an outstanding contract fabric in terms of durability, specially developed from yarns that withstand many years of intensive outdoor use. Minimal care required and colours that stay strong and vivid even after years of continuous outdoor exposure – even in the harshest weather conditions.

- Structure in 304 stainless steel tube, 90% recyclable, with an electrolytically polished surface that removes surface iron particles and increases resistance to atmospheric corrosion, chemical action and salt spray.

- Glass top enamelled on the underside at 900°C (1652°F), chemically matted on the top and edges (no fingerprints)
