Soft geometries with the echo of the West Coast – the Redondo collection by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso
The Redondo bed, designed by Patricia Urquiola, unites soft forms, architectural clarity and the nostalgic charm of Californian design. The curved, upholstered shell frames the generous sleeping surface like a gentle wave – without hard edges, full of calm and harmony. The quilted cover fabric, produced exclusively to a design by Patricia Urquiola, traces elegant, three-dimensional geometries with fine lines. The soft surface invites touch and conveys a feeling of security and comfort – a sensuous retreat, inspired by the luxurious interiors of American automobiles of the 1950s and 1960s.
The bed frame is made of wood, upholstered with polyurethane foam of varying density to ensure the highest lying comfort. Height-adjustable slatted bases and feet in black polypropylene (70 mm) provide stability and a fine balance between volume and lightness. The model is suitable for mattresses in European standard sizes; the cover is fully removable and easy to care for.
Redondo Bed is more than a piece of furniture – it is an invitation to sink into a soft geometry in which comfort, memory and design merge into one harmonious form.
