The outdoor tables of the Saarinen collection feature a top made of white Acrylic stone on the original die-cast aluminium base, available with a white or black Rilsan coating. Acrylic stone is a solid material made of aluminium hydroxide, acrylic resin and natural pigments: the aluminium hydroxide makes the top firm, while the acrylic resin keeps the surface closed, so that water cannot penetrate and the top remains suitable for contact with food. Of all the Saarinen tables, only the versions with an Acrylic stone top are suitable for outdoor use; marble, laminate and veneer remain indoors. The Acrylic stone top is 2 cm thick. The top and base are delivered separately. The "Knoll" logo sits on the underside of the base, with a nameplate bearing the "Knoll Studio" logo and Saarinen's signature underneath the top.
The oval outdoor dining table with a 198 x 121 cm top at 72 cm height offers space for three chairs on each long side and one chair on each short side. White Acrylic stone top, base available in white or black.
