The RIGA-XL from Franz Fertig is the perfect choice for anyone looking for a versatile, functional sofa that adapts easily to different living situations. With its understated elegance and a compact external width of only 200 cm, the RIGA-XL combines stylish design with outstanding functionality. It offers the ideal combination of sitting, relaxing and sleeping in one piece of furniture that also works in the smallest of spaces.
Thanks to the swivelling seats and the folding arm and back rests, the RIGA-XL can be brought into the desired position in seconds. The seats can be turned through 90° from the sitting into the relaxing position by means of a sophisticated swivel fitting: simply take hold of the armrest at the sides, pull the seat outwards at an angle and turn it anticlockwise. For maximum comfort the armrests are flexibly adjustable. Pressing inwards releases the catch so that the armrests can be laid down horizontally and locked in numerous positions by lifting them slightly. Please note that the armrests are not suitable for sitting on.
Particularly noteworthy is the innovative backrest mechanism of the RIGA-XL. Thanks to the gas-spring mechanism, the backrest can be lowered effortlessly: simply pull the release loop and push the backrest backwards. When the loop is released, the backrest is securely locked in the desired position. Please note that lowering the backrest requires a certain distance from the wall in order to allow full freedom of movement.
