The Sequence dining table by Ethnicraft combines a powerful, sculptural design language with the natural warmth of solid mahogany. Inspired by the rhythmic interplay of repetition and variation, the exceptional design brings movement into the dining area while becoming a striking focal point in the room.
The Sequence dining table was designed by Alain van Havre. Its base frame of solid wood elements is characteristic. The alternating shapes create a balanced interplay of closed surfaces and open gaps. As a result, the table looks different from every angle and takes on a particularly architectural and sculptural presence.
The smooth, clearly designed table top forms a deliberate contrast to the expressive base frame. Its pared-back design brings calm into the composition and allows the special construction of the base to make an even stronger impression. Shape and function are thus brought together into a balanced whole.
With a length of 240 cm, the Sequence dining table offers generous room for up to ten people and is therefore ideally suited to large dining areas and sociable gatherings. The dark brown colouring underlines the natural grain of the mahogany and gives the table a warm, elegant and at the same time expressive appearance.
Material
The Sequence dining table is made from mahogany and tinted in a dark brown shade. A protective lacquer refines the surface while highlighting the natural structure of the wood. The solid, sculpturally built base frame in particular emphasises the high-quality use of materials, full of character.
