The Oscar desk by Ethnicraft combines a clear, minimalist design language with generous functionality and high-quality craftsmanship. The straight-lined teak table top meets a slender black metal frame, creating a balanced contrast between natural warmth and modern lightness.
The Oscar desk was designed by Alain van Havre. The design is aimed equally at those who love a pared-back working environment and at users who need additional storage space and clear organisation. This generous version is therefore fitted with two integrated drawers.
A special detail are the fronts of the two drawers. They are carved by hand in teak and give the otherwise straight-lined desk a fine structure shaped by craftsmanship. This creates an accent full of character that additionally emphasises the natural appeal of the wood.
With a working surface of 200 x 90 cm, the Oscar desk offers generous room for computers, documents, lamps and other work accessories. The two drawers make it possible to keep smaller work utensils tidy and within reach. This makes the desk excellently suited to spacious home offices, studies and professionally equipped office areas.
The black metal legs provide a light, modern contrast to the warm teak and make the generous table top appear visually balanced. The combination of clear lines, natural materials and handcrafted details makes the Oscar desk a timeless workplace with a character of its own.
