Ethnicraft Oblic side table
The Oblic side table by Ethnicraft combines a sculptural design language with the natural warmth of solid teak. The unusual design plays with geometric shapes, movement and open spaces, giving the table a dynamic yet balanced presence.
The Oblic side table was designed by Alain van Havre. The starting point of the design was playful experimentation with different shapes. The deliberate use of negative space creates a distinctive visual dynamic: depending on the viewing angle, the appearance of the table changes and makes it look like an ever-new sculpture.
The compact round table top offers a practical surface for drinks, books, lamps or decorative home accessories. At the same time, the characteristic construction makes the Oblic side table an expressive design object that can be used next to a sofa or armchair as well as freely in the room.
The brown tinted surface emphasises the natural grain of the teak and gives the table a warm, high-quality look. Thanks to its compact size and sculptural design, the Oblic side table fits particularly harmoniously into modern, minimalist and naturally furnished living areas.
Material
The Oblic side table is made from solid, FSC-certified teak. The wood is given a brown tint and then a protective lacquer finish. This keeps the characteristic grain of the teak visible while giving the surface additional protection for everyday use.
