Ethnicraft Monocle coffee table - outdoor
The Monocle outdoor coffee table by Ethnicraft combines elegant, clear lines with a relaxed and particularly balanced design language. Its low silhouette is refined and inviting at the same time and was developed specifically to complement modern outdoor lounge areas in a functional and stylish way.
The design is by Jacques Deneef. The softly flowing form of the Monocle coffee table creates a generous and practical surface on which drinks, books or other things remain comfortably within reach while relaxing outdoors. At the same time the design language harmoniously picks up the soft contours of the matching Monocle sofa elements.
The rectangular version offered here combines a light grey concrete top with a solid teak base. The contrast between the mineral, calm surface of the concrete and the natural warmth of the teak gives the table a high-quality and enduring character.
With generous dimensions of 120 × 83 cm, the coffee table offers ample surface area for a comfortable outdoor lounge. At the same time, the low height of 25 cm creates a relaxed effect close to the ground that works particularly well with deep lounge sofas and armchairs.
The Monocle coffee table was designed for daily outdoor use. The solid teak is used untreated, while the hand-finished concrete surface is treated for additional protection against spills and everyday use in the open air.

The concrete surface is finished by hand, lacquered and treated for the best possible protection against spills and for regular outdoor use. The teak brings natural warmth and a lively grain to the design, while the concrete top provides a robust, mineral and modern look.
