SEAX stands for elegance and modernity. This sophisticated folding chair, distinguished by its unique attention to detail, a rich abundance of innovative design solutions and its irresistibly appealing combination of materials, colours and structures, is the work of the French designer Jean-Marie Massaud. SEAX is available in lounge and dining dimensions. Inspired by the sleek racing yachts of the America's Cup, the folding chair is made from the usual innovative, weather-resistant DEDON materials: synthetic outdoor and high-tech fabric.
The frame consists of powder-coated aluminium profiles with powder-coated die-cast aluminium legs. The table top is made of a mineral composite material. It is water-jet cut from the largest porcelain slabs of this kind in the world and is produced specially for DEDON. Glazed at 1300°C, it is non-porous, frost-resistant, unaffected by UV rays and highly resistant to scratches and abrasion. Use a soft cloth and warm water for cleaning. The teak table top is made from high-quality teak. Sealing joints between the teak slats allow the wood to expand and contract within its natural movement.
