SEAX stands for elegance and modernity. This sophisticated folding chair, distinguished by its unique attention to detail, a rich abundance of innovative design solutions and its irresistibly attractive combination of materials, colours and textures, is the work of the French designer Jean-Marie Massaud. SEAX is available in lounge and dining dimensions. Inspired by the slender racing yachts of the America's Cup, the folding chair is made from the customarily innovative, weather-resistant DEDON materials: synthetic outdoor textile and high-tech fabric.
The frame is made of powder-coated die-cast aluminium. The seat and back surfaces of the textile version are made of a fabric of PVC, acrylic and polyester. The seat and back surfaces of the leather version are made of genuine leather with a special outdoor treatment. The table top and the wood trim of the armrests are made of gently curved laminated wood with a teak finish. To clean the frame and the seat and back surfaces, use a soft cloth and warm water. The laminated wood surfaces are cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents on them.
