The MDEAR Footstool is the complementary element of the collection of the same name by Sebastian Herkner and completes the concept of "organic islands". The name MDEAR derives from "to endear" - a promise to make the outdoor area endearing and sheltered. As an evolution of the legendary MBRACE design, this stool serves not only as a comfortable footrest but, thanks to its generous, engaging lines, also as a full additional seat or a sculptural side piece.
Sebastian Herkner's design philosophy shows here in the soft, dune-like shaping that dispenses with geometric rigour. The distinctive "Bold Touch" weave in DEDON fibre encloses the body and enters into a warm dialogue with the base frame in hand-selected teak. Every detail, from the precise weaving to the tactile quality of the materials, is aimed at creating an incomparable feel-good atmosphere and making the footstool an indispensable part of your garden archipelago.
