After years of product development, the ground-breaking, ecological DEDON fibre was created, making its debut with Stephen Burks' DALA collection. It is made from recycled food and drink packaging and fully recyclable high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The high-quality, paper-like structure of the fibre gives it a wonderful feel. The material is suitable for use both indoors and outdoors. It has a high tensile strength of over 150 kg/cm² and is resistant to salt water and to temperatures from -26 to 60°C. Avoid contact with chlorinated water. Clean splashes of chlorinated water with tap water. The company's internal QUV test did show a high UV resistance, but the colour of the DEDON eco fibre may nevertheless fade slightly over the years.

DEDON fibre is not only extremely weather-resistant and unaffected by cold, heat, sun, rain or snow, it also has exceptional colour and structural stability and is impervious to chlorinated and salt water.
