Carl Hansen E340 Embrace Sofa • stool module
The flexible, modular Embrace Sofa by EOOS combines a streamlined frame with unrivalled seating comfort. The sofa is designed to adapt to changing needs and different everyday situations. The classic look and modern ease of the Embrace Sofa were developed over many years to ensure the design stands the test of time. The modular furniture minimises the use of materials, so that the look embodies the design and the design embodies the look, without compromising on comfort or function. The sofa consists of ten modules, each of which can be combined in countless ways or stand alone without difficulty. The solid FSC®-certified wood Frames, Armrests and tables are strict in expression but flexible in composition (FSC C135991). A soft down layer on the upholstered Seat surface and loose Cushions provide contrast and wonderfully comfortable seating. The versatile design fits effortlessly into any room and adapts to any requirement, whether a classic, symmetrical, striking or sculptural look is desired.
The E340 is the stool module of the Embrace sofa system: a seat element without a Backrest and without an Armrest that can be attached to a row of seats or stand alone. Unlike the seat modules, no Cushion is included in the price here. The module is available in seven Versions: soaped oak, lacquered, oiled, white-oiled or black-lacquered oak, as well as lacquered or oiled walnut. The seat can be upholstered in eight fabric groups and three leather groups. Cushions CU E300S and CU E300L are available for an additional charge. The stool module with table section carries the model number E350.
