A simple complex chair: trapezoid, square, rectangle and oval meet in PAR. The almost floating backrest gives it its lightness — its curvature embraces the back and, together with the large, round seat surface, provides surprising comfort.
Its upholstery is ecological: sisal webbing, coconut fibres, cold foam made from castor oil instead of petroleum, and a cushion pad of sheep's wool. The cover, in fabric or leather, is permanently fitted and not removable — so choosing a cover is a decision for the long term.
The widely splayed feet are made of solid wood and available in three finishes: light oak, "Wenge dark" oak, and walnut with a matt lacquer. This chair stands on a fixed frame; PAR is also available as a swivel chair and as a bar stool.
